Stroller TLC
Remember when you first bought your stroller how easy it was to keep it looking great? The frame was smooth and shiny, the fabric was clean and perfectly black. Granted, your wee babe probably hadn’t been born yet and the stroller was only set up for show – don’t worry, we’ve all been there!
Fast-forward a few months and you’ve probably got a bit of dirt on the tyres, maybe even sand if you’re the adventurous type. As time goes on there’ll be more dirt, mud and grime covering your stroller and if you’re not mindful, everyday wear and tear can start to impact on your smooth ride.
Just like your car, regular servicing extends the life of your Edwards & Co stroller. Don’t worry, it’s not too hard to keep your stroller in its best shape.
Check out our Servicing Guide for step-by-step instructions on how to clean your stroller and prevent rust and corrosion. Regular servicing will also keep your wheels moving smoothly. All Edwards & Co fabrics are removable and Page 2 of the Servicing Guide explains how to wash and dry each of the different fabrics.
And lastly, check out this short 8 min video where Mark shows you how to tune up your Oscar Mx stroller at home. You don’t need a lot of equipment and anything you will need can be bought at your local supermarket or hardware store. We recommend giving your stroller a service every 6 months, with a monthly glance-over to catch any signs of wear and tear early.
