2014
How it all began
Edwards & Co started in 2014 when at the time, you didn't have many options. The overpriced, over-designed prams didn't suit everyday parenting, and others focused on "game-changing" features that you didn't really need.
Mark Edwards had a vision to make parenting a smoother ride...because there's nothing worse than leaving your pram on the side of the road when you don't know how to fold it to get it back into your car. (True story!)
2014-2018
Balancing quality & fun
Edwards & Co was born, a brand focused on features that parents care about, easy to fold, light, and easy to push and manoeuvre. So naturally, our Oscar Travel System quickly became a best-seller.
The Oscar helped ease you into new parenthood with features you didn't know you needed before having a baby. Like being able to lift and unfold your stroller one-handed while you hold your crying newborn who demanded cuddles as soon as you parked the car. Or the Carry Cot, which might be the only place your baby would sleep. Luckily the Oscar was easy to manoeuvre around the loungeroom or over bumpy tree roots at the park, depending on your baby's preference.
2018
Growing momentum
*Otto came along after Mark saw similar problems in the travel category, strollers that were either cheap and flimsy and known for being left behind at your destination, or strollers that boasted a ton of features that weren't practical for daily use. Instead, our compact stroller was light, durable and most importantly, comfortable for your child to sit and sleep in.2018 was also the year Mark became a Dad.

2019
An evolution
Armed with an added layer of insight as a new parent, Mark launched the Oscar Mx, his biggest project to date. The original Oscar was redesigned from the ground up to produce a high-performance pram with elegant visual appeal. The goal was the same: to get you out and about with your kids and love the experience.
One-handed parenting stepped up a notch with Oscar's memory adapter system for clicking the Capsule and Carry Cot to the frame. Adjusting the canopy and seat recline was quieter and smoother than before... because you shouldn't be walking on eggshells at naptime! And Oscar's popular parent-facing seat keeps you learning and growing with your child.
2022
On a roll
Our family grew further as we launched our single-to-double stroller, Olive. Olive is small yet mighty, designed to grow and adapt with your family and get out with multiple children. Alongside Olive, our best-seller Oscar received some upgrades and we released the Oscar M2. We also had fun surprising our customers with some highly-requested accessories to make their parenting journey a smoother ride; the Stroller Board & Home Stand.

2024 and beyond
Looking ahead
We’re continuing to focus on designing quality products, retaining our small business values and enjoying having a direct relationship with our customers. This year, we’ve launched our Oscar Trade-In program allowing past customers to easily upgrade from Oscar to Olive to suit their growing family and we’re not stopping there. We have some big things on the horizon for the rest of this year…watch this space!
